General Information About Discover Marrakech Tour
With every step and round every corner you can absorb Moroccan history, culture, sights and atmosphere.
The first stop is the city’s most famous minaret, Koutoubia Mosque, towering majestically over its surroundings. We’ll take a break over lunch at a traditional restaurant near Djemaa el-Fna.
Recharged, we’ll head down the colourful rue RiadZitoun El Kedim to MaisonTiskiwin to see a fascinating private collection of crafts and decorative arts from southern Morocco. Then we’ll visit the Palais de Bahia, passing through the old Jewish Quarter or Mellah. Finally, we’ll stop by the Saadian Tombs, dating back to sultan Ahmad al-Mansur, but only recently discovered in 1917.
Meeting/pick-up point: Parking of Ensemble Artisanal, Mohamed V Avenue (Medina) at 8.40am, or in front of Kenzi Farah Hotel, Hivernage at 8.25am.
End/closing time: At 6pm.
