East Coast And Changi Tour

General Information About East Coast And Changi Tour

Explore the darkest chapter in Singapore’s history with this emotive tour of the eastern Changi region, where a notorious Japanese prisoner of war camp was located. Visit the Changi Chapel and Museum, and drive through the laidback village of Changi, a world away from the modern skyscrapers of the city. Discover also the cultural riches of the majority Malay ethnic areas.

When the Japanese invaded Singapore in 1942, few could have imagined the horrors that awaited the country. Allied soldiers were held at the Changi Prison, where POWs and civilians were treated inhumanely and routinely tortured.
